Commonly used in data center and telecom businesses, the ETSI size allows an easy patching of the pigtails and the patchcords. Particularly recommended for passive uses, its main asset is to deal easily with overlengths of jumpers while always respecting the right bending radius.
In general, ETSI rack mounts have a width of 300mm with or without lateral space for managing the overlengths of jumpers. With this special set up, side panels are fixed.
